Welcome Lords and Ladies to the Clan MacFarlane gateway to the Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA). Hailing from the East Kingdom's Shire of Coill Tuar, we are a small but growing Clan with many interests. With the exception of Archery and Thrown Weapons, we are not yet a fighting household. We have quite a portfolio in Arts & Sciences covering most A-to-Z in our small group.

"What is the SCA?" you ask... In short, the SCA is an International Medieval Re-Creation Organization of Medieval scholars and enthusiasts from all walks of life. For a more indepth description and history of the SCA and membership information, visit the SCA Web Site.

In this forum, we hope to provide enriching information for those interested in the SCA, Medieval Scotland, or other personas of the Gaelic persuasion. As parents, we feel our children should be included in our "hobby". The SCA has so much to offer and these little minds are starving to learn. We need to take advantage of this to build the next generation of the Society. With that, we hope to build an diverse section of information for kids and their parents. Starting with lessons on Crafts, Heraldry, and Chivelry, and we hope we are able to bring forth a curriculum for a standard Pages Academy.
