Encampment: Clan mac Pharlain
Greetings and Fiálte!
After long discussions regarding establishment of a Clan presense at events, we have
are registered with the Land Office for Pennsic War XXXIII with the above name.
Pre-Register as soon as possible and record your medallion numbers in the Group
Pre-Registration Database. With all parties in agreement, some ground rules have
been established.
We all agree in the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) methodology of raising a War
Encampment, thus any decadence will be kept to a discrete minimum. Afterall, we
are on vacation, and there's other work and responsibilities outside the
encampment. We have much of what we feel a basic War Camp should
look like, and will be working over the coming months to procure the remaining
for a dry-run at War of the Roses. This will be followed by Pre-Pennsic warmup
at EK North Region War Camp.
As with all new encampments and Land Agents, choice of land is a Crap Shoot at
best. We are at the mercy of the Land Office; however, we feel that we can get
a slice of one of the blocks we seek without being sent to the Serengheti's
North 40. Those choices are E08, E12, E09 & E13 - in that order.
